In September 1954 John Ray Cash walked into Sun studios, Memphis to record his first single, ‘Hey Porter’. A little over two minutes of freight train rhythms would be the start of an incredible career that lasted until Johnny’s death in 2003, aged 71. Richard Diaz (Johnny Cash) and Lizzy Rushby (June Carter), backed by a full band bring you a distillation of the career of one of the biggest names in country music.
